In what will hopefully become a regular feature on Reading Local, “Literazzi” will be a series of posts with reader-submitted photo’s of themselves or others (with permission) reading in public. Thanks to the generosity of the staff over at Wordstock (19 days and counting!), Reading Local has 10 tickets to this years Festival to give away to readers! There are three ways that you can win yourself a ticket:
1) Email (portland@readinglocal.com) a review of a Portland based authors’ book, or a review of a book by one of the authors who will be present at this years Wordstock to be posted on the site. The review must be a minimum of 175 words, and can’t contain any cursing or personal attacks on the author.
2) Email (portland@readinglocal.com) a picture of yourself or someone else (with their permission) reading a book in public to be posted on the site.

In what will hopefully become a regular feature on Reading Local, Literazzi is an attempt to prove the naysayers wrong by catching people in the act (with their permission of course) of reading. It does still happen, yes a bit antiquated but there is nothing like sticking your nose amongst fresh print on paper.
