We feature interviews with and profiles of Portland authors, bookstore owners, publishers, agents, and the proprietors of local literary organizations. We offer reviews of books from Portland authors and publishers, commentary on news involving the Portland literary community, and original content from Portland writers. We also pride ourselves on providing the most consistent and comprehensive coverage of literary events occurring in the Portland metro area.
Reading Local: Portland was created by book junkies just like you, with the simple purpose of exploring the wonderful literary community that surrounds us. We invite you to partake in this exploration by promoting the areas of Portland’s literary community near and dear to your heart, sharing news and links related to Portland’s literary community , and connecting with other local literary loving folk.
