The Comics Journal has a great preview of this weekend’s Stumptown Comics Fest, where in they cajole nearly every exhibitor to “discuss their plans” for the event.  It’s a terrific way to not only get a sense of the amazing talent that will be there, but also what to expect from each one of them.

For instance, Graham Annable “will be debuting [his] Book of Grickle from Dark Horse,” Farel Dalrymple will be “bringing a new 56-page limited edition Pop Gun War comic,” and Joelle Jones is bringing a “limited amount of copies of [her] self-published Seven Deadly Sins sketchbook ($5).”  Check out the preview for more.

Gabe Barber started Reading Local in January of 2009 as a vehicle for exploring Portland's literary scene. He's not an aspiring author, and you won't find his work on a bookshelf or in any prestigious lit rag. He is however, a full on book nerd, with a passion for independent literature.
