A late-breaking announcement that the University of Oregon in Portland is pairing up with the New Oregon Interview Series to host the free public event, “Portland on Portland: Image + Word” tomorrow, Tuesday 4/20.
Author Floyd Skloot will be in conversation with artist and curator Nan Curtis, and photographer, filmmaker, and critic Brian Libby.
Up for debate: how
does Portland’s distinctive regional culture show through in its arts scene? All three panelists will share some of their work before launching into discussion and opening up an audience Q&A.
Free refreshments will be provided, and this one is free and open to all. The event kicks off at 6 pm and runs until around 8 pm, at the White Stag Block (70 NW Couch St.) You can read more about it here.
