A late-breaking announcement that the University of Oregon in Portland is pairing up with the New Oregon Interview Series to host the free public event, “Portland on Portland: Image + Word” tomorrow, Tuesday 4/20.

Author Floyd Skloot will be in conversation with artist and curator Nan Curtis, and photographer, filmmaker, and critic Brian Libby.

Up for debate:  how White Stag Block Talkdoes Portland’s distinctive regional culture show through in its arts scene? All three panelists will share some of their work before launching into discussion and opening up an audience Q&A.

Free refreshments will be provided, and this one is free and open to all.  The event kicks off at 6 pm and runs until around 8 pm, at the White Stag Block (70 NW Couch St.)  You can read more about it here.
