-So while exploring Paper Fort blog a post popped up about this reading series that happens on the third Wednesday of every month. I was not at all aware of this reading series and that’s what we do here. We try to bring you the events from everywhere and now I have Paper fort to thank for this series.

-James Hynes new book Next is out and he’s got an really solid essay up in an ode to unlikable characters. In fact, the title alone just calls to you to read it. And a click here is totally worth it.

Local graphic journalist, Joe Sacco, wins Ridenhour Book Prize for his book Footnotes in Gaza. The first time an illustrated book has won the prize. Well done, sir! Well done.

-Okay, this has little and less to do with books, but I heart this director. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind is one of my all time favorite movies and this many always manages to find interesting things to do with cinema without resorting to too much special FX.
