New Release:
Volette I: Seven Saints & a Cigarette Butt a new chapbook from Wil Peregrine is now available for purchase. Seven Saints is also available at Reading Frenzy.
Description:
“Creative constructs can fester in the backs of our minds for many years (or in this case, a decade), waiting for us to get off our lazy asses and see them to fruition. These writings are old. Old, angsty love poems and one short story, written about failed gay relationships in high school and college. Seven Saints & a Cigarette Butt was first conceptualized to focus on seven significant failed loves and one love-that-never-was. But in truth, some of our best poetry comes from our most fleeting experiences—and if every boy who’s ever passed through my life were a ‘saint’, I’d now have more saints than the Catholic Church. When I selected the seven pieces to be part of this collection (I always knew the eighth would have its place), I realized I wasn’t dealing with love or relationships, but with themes of alchemy and perception, common to all my work. I hope you will enjoy the pieces in this short collection and that they will entice you to read more yet to come.”
