The wonderful folks over at PZS have set the date and a new location for this year’s event. The Portland Zine Symposium hosts a multitude of zinesters and artists (certainly not mutually exclusive) that share their work in a friendly and down to earth setting. Join your local PDX DIY’ers and the creative folk that make this city great this August 28th and 29th at their new location at the PSU Peter W. Stott Main Gym. Get more info at the Portland Zine Symposium Website.

PZS Mission:

The Portland Zine Symposium aims to promote greater community between diverse creators of independent publications and art. This fun and free event helps people share their work while exchanging their skills and information related to zine culture. Through workshops, panels and discussions, Portland Zine Symposium explores the role and effect of all types of zines.
