Over 30 organizations offering “support and opportunities for writers,” will be present this Sunday (2-28) at the Writers Resource Fair held downtown at the Central Library.  The fair is a wonderful opportunity to network with literary minded individuals, and celebrate the regions “lively literary scene.”

The incredible lineup of particpating organizations includes:

Included in the events will be a Small Press Book Sale, a look at the Sterling Room for Writers (the libraries quiet space for writing and research), a tour of the John Wilson Special Collections (where hand-printed broadsides by noted writers will be on display, in addition to an exhibition of materials drawn from the collection’s papers of poet David Lee), and the Friends’ Library Store will also be open.

If you are a Portland area writer or an interested reader, this is a can’t miss event.  Hope to see you there!
