Slow week for events, as to be expected, but from what I could find (please contact me if you have an event you would like me to add to this or future schedules), the local book events for the week of December 21, 2009 through December 27, 2009 are:

Monday December 21-

No events today, although you can always go buy a book at your neighborhood bookstore.

Tuesday December 22-

No events today, although you can always go buy a book at your neighborhood bookstore.

Wednesday December 23-

Rick Remender presents The Last Days of American Crime (Cosmic Monkey Comics, @1:00pm): Rick Remender is a comic book writer and artist who resides in Portland, Oregon. He is best known for his work on Marvel Comics’ recent Punisher series, Fear Agent, The End League, Gigantic, Crawl Space: XXXombies, Black Heart Billy, Strange Girl, Sea of Red, and Doctor Voodoo. He will be reading from and signing copies of the first issue of The Last Days of American Crime.

Grimm’s Fairytale Puppet Show (Green Bean Books, @4:00pm): Yvonne De Maat of Heart in Hand Preschool will perform the Grimm’s Fairytale, The Elves and the Shoemaker. The show is appropriate for kids ages 3-6 years old and will be limited to the first 15 who arrive.

Thursday December 24-

Friday December 25-

No events today, most neighborhood bookstore‘s and area libraries closed.

Saturday December 26-
