Although very much in its infancy, I have begun a list of Portland authors.  If you are a Portland author, or know of one please contact me and I will get you on the list.  I will update this list daily as recommendations come in from you, and as I find Portland authors through my own sly detective work (aka google searches…).

Gabe Barber started Reading Local in January of 2009 as a vehicle for exploring Portland's literary scene. He's not an aspiring author, and you won't find his work on a bookshelf or in any prestigious lit rag. He is however, a full on book nerd, with a passion for independent literature.
