Is Portland "Interesting?"

I certainly think so, and hopefully you do as well.  Kudos to the folks over at Substance for pointing me to the upcoming event Interesting Portland.  If there is something in particular you find interesting about Portland (its fascination with pirates, bridges, or books perhaps), then Interesting Portland would like to hear from you.  Download their quick form, submit it, and you might just find yourself one of the twenty giving a “3 or 10 minute” presentation on what it is you find so interesting!

The idea is for the format to feel like “the experience of clicking from one really good blog to another, ranging across sciences, arts, music, jokes and whatever.”  There is an early bird ticket price ($11) for those brave enough to buy tickets to an event without knowing who will be presenting, or you can spend an additional ($5) and wait until the full schedule is released.

I have to say the whole idea sounds pretty…interesting.
